1965-1971 Lead Vocalist Member of the bands The Id, Yama, and Copperwine . with The Id and Copperwine achieving national success, both live and with Top Ten hit singles. (Big Time Operator - The Id), (Teach Me How To Fly - Copperwine). 1972-1982 Self Employed. Ran a successful career in entertainment performing the roles of performer, writer (music and dialogue), producer and business manager. First artist outside America to be released on the ASYLUM label. National Top Ten hit single (Fool In Love).

From 1982 until now has done a lot of things including collaboration with Universities on various programs for the disabled, lecture tours on the same, and designing plus building a beautifull Harley Davidson trike plus of course fronting Jeffrey St John & The Embers.

Was recently made PATRON for the MOSAIC FAMILY & COMMUNITY SERVICES Organisation. This recently formed organisation provides support for disabled people in many areas, including rehabilitation programs for disabled people unfairly penalised by the legal system. Recently toured Europe with the DAVE HOLE BAND , and also with his own outfit THE NERVOUS INVESTORS. This tour covered Germany, Italy, Norway, Moscow, Holland, Poland, and Salzburg in Austria, the home of MOZART. Still doing shows around the country.

BILL BLISSETT: KEY BOARDS and VOCALS.

AGE: One of the survivors of the SIXTIES.

Toured the U.K. and Europe with many bands including SCREAMING LORD SUTCH, MARTY WILDE, BLUES BY FIVE.

Did sessions with many acts before opting to move to Australia to soak up the sun. Once again , extensive touring in Australia and the Far East on the Cabaret circuit. Decided to settle here, in Perth, where many friends in the music industry have been made.

Guesting with various Perth bands until invited by Jeffrey St. John to join his latest project. Also guests with The Troupadores on occasions.

PETER SLATTER: BASS GUITAR and VOCALS.

Originally from QLD and has played with the John Paul Young All Star Band, the Reg Lindsay Country Show and showbands such as Shazam and the Flying Beer Gut Brothers.

He has also worked in Tamworth as a session player both on recordings and live performances. He still performs now and then with WA showband the Troupadores. Some nice jazz gigs with guirtarist Russell Smith when available.

Claims he had sex once, but said it wasn't as good as playing with Jeffrey St. John & The Embers :-)

PAUL CLOSE: Sound Engineer / Production.

My career spans some 34 years, starting in Sydney with bands like Missisippi (later to become LRB), The La De Da's, The Mixtures, John Paul Young, overseas acts like Sara Vaughan, Bo Diddley, and of course Jeff St John as he was known then.

In 1983 I moved to Perth, and spent nearly 20 years based at Perth Entertainment Centre working on every show that came through the venue when I wasn't doing shows in Singapore and Malaysia. You can view my web site at www.paulclose.iinet.net.au
