PAUL CLOSE: Sound Engineer / Production.
My career spans some 34 years, starting in Sydney with bands like Missisippi (later to become LRB), The La De Da's, The Mixtures, John Paul Young, overseas acts like Sara Vaughan, Bo Diddley, and of course Jeff St John as he was known then.
In 1983 I moved to Perth, and spent nearly 20 years based at Perth Entertainment Centre working on every show that came through the venue when I wasn't doing shows in Singapore and Malaysia. You can view my web site at www.paulclose.iinet.net.au
Recently completed (and gained) my Cert. 2 in Mandarin, and being a glutton for punishment, have just started the Certificate 3 in same.
